Honor is preparing to launch a new smartphone with an internal fan, following in the footsteps of RedMagic and OPPO. The leaked render of the Honor Win suggests that it will come with an built-in active fan directly inside its body. This new Honor Win model is expected to replace the Honor GT Series, their gaming smartphone lineup, and aims to provide flagship specifications and unique features.
From the leaked render, we can see that Honor has included an active fan cooling system similar to the RedMagic 11 Pro and OPPO K13 Turbo. The fan is positioned in the camera module area, alongside three camera sensors. However, there seems to be no visible ventilation holes on the sides of the smartphone. If the speculation about the internal fan is true, the ventilation area might be located at the top, which could be less than ideal as it may be covered by the user’s hand during intense gaming sessions.
Apart from the cooling system, the Honor Win is said to feature flagship specifications, with the top model using the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC. There will also be a regular variant with the previous generation Snapdragon 8 Elite. Additionally, one variant is rumored to come with a massive 1,000mAh battery capacity with 100W fast charging support. Both models will feature a 6.8-inch AMOLED display.
Currently, there is not much detailed information available about the specifications or the release date of the Honor Win. It remains to be seen whether this smartphone will be exclusive to the Chinese market or if it will make its debut globally.
